The Sons of the American Revolution has a local chapter in Monterey.

In 2011, I was given two PDF files that can be used to help prepare for the application for membership in the group.  These are available here for download.

The first PDF is called a Worksheet.  You should download this and then simply print it out.  You can fill in the fields by hand.  You can print this over and over for as many times as you need it. Click to download SAR Worksheet

The second PDF is called an Application.  It is actually a dynamic fillable form that the user can fill in the various fields.  This is nice because when you do finally print it, it will be clear like as if you typed it.  You can also email it.  What you should do with this one is to download, the create a separate copy for each ancestor you are working with.
