Change your Zoom account password

Normally this topic wouldn’t be posted here. But because I suggested about using Zoom here a few weeks ago, I feel I should bring it up.

Zoom account passwords have been hacked and are being distributed on the dark web. You can Google it to find out about it. Check the Forbes sites for a good article.

Don’t panic though, the solution is simple => just sign onto ZOOM.US and change your password! Changing your password will not affect any scheduled meetings nor any of your other settings. It is easy to do: on the main page, scroll towards the bottom, find the Password line and click Edit.

If you do not actually have an account, but have just been joining meetings, there is nothing to change!

This is a good time to remind people that it is not a good idea to use the same password everywhere!  🙂
